MENTORSHIP MATTERS

How can you benefit from a successful mentorship experience? Find out how to do just that with CanWIT!

CanWIT National and CanWIT’s Atlantic Chapter are pleased to invite you to an exclusive workshop for women in technology.

If you are looking for a mentor:

  1. Find out how a mentor can promote your achievements.
  2. See how a mentorship relationship can build critical skills to move your career forward.
  3. Identify the “right” mentor to guide you.

If you are looking for a mentee:

  1. Learn how to establish a framework to build a successful mentorship relationship.
  2. Practice how to clarify the ground rules including the what, when and how of the relationship.
  3. Understand what selection criteria are important before saying “yes” to a mentee.

Why Mentorship Matters?

We learn faster and deeper from the people we look up to. A mentor is someone experienced who commits to helping you learn and advance. In technology, women are still few, so finding role models can be challenging. Finding mentors or mentees in your life is an integral component to a successful career.
